 etition and cheer on 16 student teams competing in this real-time, non-sto
 p, 48-hour challenge to administer a computational cluster and demonstrate
  the greatest sustained performance across a series of applications. Teams
  selected for this year’s competition come from universities in the United
  States, Germany, Taiwan, Poland, China, Singapore, Indonesia, and Austral
 ia. The teams are using big iron hardware solutions limited by a 3 KW powe
 r cap to execute a sampling of HPC applications.
