  effort to develop a software stack for system-wide power optimization. Th
 e HPC PowerStack effort is the first to identify what power optimization s
 oftware actors are needed; how they interoperate to achieve stable, synchr
 onized optimization; and how to glue together existing open source project
 s to engineer a cost-effective but cohesive, cross-platform power stack im
 plementation.\n\nThis BoF disseminates key insights acquired in the projec
 t, provides prototyping status updates, invites audience feedback on curre
 nt directions, brainstorms solutions to open questions, and issues a call-
 to-action to join the collaboration.
