 with aircraft engines that deliver double digit improvements in fuel effic
 iency, noise, and emissions.  High Performance Computing is used throughou
 t the lifecycle of the product, from exploring conceptual design space and
  optimizing designs virtually to simulating manufacturing processes and op
 timizing the aftermarket experience for customers.  This presentation will
  highlight how Pratt & Whitney uses a portfolio of on-premise computing re
 sources and cloud to meet technical and business challenges.  It will conc
 lude with a somewhat irreverent assessment of hype vs. reality, and what i
 t really takes to succeed with cloud HPC.
