Gregory Gutmann is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Titech), Tokyo Japan. He received his B.S from John Carroll University, Ohio, USA, in 2013. In the summers of 2012 and 2013 he was an intern at National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in The NASA Center for Climate Simulation and The Earth Sciences Division Department. He received both his M. Eng. and PhD from the Department of Computational Intelligence and Systems Science at Titech, finishing in 2016. After which he started his work as an Assistant Professor, continuing his research and supporting students in their pursuit of their own research. He has published several papers related to interactive 3D coarse-grained molecular simulations. His research interest includes GPU programming, interactive simulation, Deep Learning, Virtual reality, and anything that may seem like an interesting challenge. He has worked on Molecular Robotics and Artificial Muscle projects within the Konagaya Laboratory at Titech, and as of 2018 he is an Nvidia University Ambassador. E-mail: gutmann@c.titech.ac.jp
