David Walling has an extensive background in software development, data management, and statistical analysis. As part of the data group at TACC, he has provided consulting support on numerous research teams ranging from natural history to geophysics to research in higher education. He has experience building deep learning models solving problems in image segmentation, geographical modeling error reduction, and natural language processing. David holds a Master of Science in Applied Statistics degree from Texas A&M.
