Ali Javadi

Biography
Ali Javadi-Abhari is a Research Staff Member at IBM. His research focuses on the software stack of near-term quantum machines, and optimizations to enable useful computations on noisy devices. He is the software architect for Qiskit, a comprehensive open-source set of tools for quantum information science. His work integrates quantum application libraries, compilers, and circuit-level and pulse-level simulators and experiments. Ali received his PhD from Princeton University, where he investigated the resource requirements of fully fault-tolerant quantum computations and the benefits of specializing computations to hardware. His work led to the Scaffold software tools for quantum resource estimation and scheduling.
